The yellow strip that provides the light, was created to look like the filament element of the original light bulb. The original LED filament bulb was intended to mimic the appearance of the original Edison light bulb.
This particular bulb is non-dimmable, however, we do have dimmable B22 bulbs available in our bulb categories. If you are choosing a dimmable LED, you may require a Trailing Edge dimmer switch. Please contact us if you’re unsure on your dimmer switch compatibility.
